Corona Craziness

Would you guys like to know how to scare people on Halloween? Well, it's easy, really.

Just get a positive Covid test...The day of Halloween!

Make scary posters, and I'm pretty sure you'll scare some people away. Some of them may just think you're joking.

But you aren't.

To survive, surrender to the requests made to "please turn the living room into a big, giant fort".

It makes good memories, when all is said and done.
Now if you can just get all of your taste and smell back you'll be just fine.

Now really, in all seriousness, it was sad. We all got it, and I got it the worst. Fever, body aches, sneezing, nausea, dizziness, and the worst headache I've had in a long time...for days and days. Thankfully, Justin's was basically just a cold (stinker!). We also had this terrible brain fog and almost depression-like state that lasted for about a week and a half. Literally didn't feel like I could think straight and said some strange things I think! Justin couldn't focus either. That was one of the weirdest parts!
It did last for about a week and a half, basically, when all was said and done (all the symptoms). So, based on how many are in our family, we have just gotten out of quarantine and it's been three weeks now. Brookelynn got it last.
We are also closing on a house, as a fun side note! It has a lot of things we've been wanting, and we are hopeful that it works out. We are not set to close until the end of December. I will try and keep the blog updated! I've been so bad about that!

Blessings on you and yours, and, stay well, my friends.

Off to a grrrreat start!

Jared is officially a kindergartner, as of today! Yesterday, we had Meet the Teacher. Here he is at the cute entrance of his school! His teacher, Mrs. Arellano, is so sweet, and we are beyond excited for him this year!

He hardly had any first day jitters - just excitement!

And the other two enjoyed a lunch at the park (even though it was SO hot!) as their last Friday before their school starts Monday, too!

We are so excited for what this school year holds.
Jared is in kindergarten at Snyder Christian School, and Brookelynn and Kaleb will be going into third and fourth grade with Abeka homeschool.

Kaleb will be doing the Abeka Academy online with fourth grade, and this year, he gets his own "school space". I think he's going to enjoy having this in his room!

Brookelynn will be doing Abeka parent-led, third grade level with me, and I'm excited to get to work more one-on-one with her. She will also start Masterbooks third grade Math, and I think the combo will work well.

I will try to keep updating as we go! Here's to a grrrrreat start!

Blessings on you and yours,
