Fun, Fabulous Fourth!

Oh yes.

The Fourth...

We love the Fourth around here. I don't care if we live in a small town. They just know how to do it right! After a large parade, a LOT of candy, a barbecue brisket sandwich and chips, a few changes of clothing ;), a sunburn, Dippin Dots ice cream, a bunch of Raspberry Crisp, grandma's homemade chocolate cake, chips and dip, angel food cake, glow wands and necklaces, a large fireworks show in our front yard along with a party at our house, topped off by a ride on the ferris wheel at the Carnival, we. were. tired. BUT...it was awesome!

Here are a few pics!
Hangin out waiting for the parade to start. Andrew and David, B and K's cousins, are on the far right (David is the last one on the right.) Aren't their shirts so cute?!

Andrew and David checking out Kaleb's "car" before the parade! He loves his Andrew and David! He was so excited to hang out with them yesterday.

Smile! :) This is actually the day before the 4th at GiGi's house. She sewed some really cute swing chair covers, so we had to get a picture on them!

Hi!

Nana and Brookey

Getting ready for the parade with Granny on the left, Daddo and Nana and GiGi in the back, and Brookey, Kaleb and cousin Andrew

Candy! And sunglasses...She likes to wear them around her neck for some reason!

Lol...These are so out of order but oh well! Back at GiGi's!  But at least it's the Fourth in this pic!

They loved these chairs for about ten seconds...got them on camera! We were waiting for the fireworks to start here on our driveway.

Brookey also loved her shoes!

GiGi and Granny!

Opa and Daddo took turns pushing the babies around. Notice Kaleb's camera. Justin fixed it so that you can see K's face really well while he pushes him around.

Kaleb's/Brookey's ;) sunglasses were a hit. And Jaci, right, came to visit us too! We LOVE Jaci!! He was so excited to see her...He hasn't seen her in a couple of weeks. He ran up to her car as soon as they got here and tried to give her a hug soon after. :)

Fun times!! Didn't get any actual pics of the fireworks because we were trying to take care of babies.

We had such a good time, though. We had a full house at our party and the ONLY thing I am sorry about is that I didn't get photos of everyone who came that night. Shelly Bradberry and most of her gang (some of our sweet cousins, Isaac, Abigail, Andrew, and David) came, Oma and Opa came and brought Granny (with a lot of good food!), Nana came with some very yummy watermelon, GiGi came with her absolutely famous chocolate cake, our sweet friend Chastidy came, and our friends the Burks came with sweet Jaci and Matthew.

It was definitely a memorable night and we are so happy to have such sweet family and friends.

I will admit, though, that I am kind of sad that Nana has left. She took care of K for a week for us while we were preparing and then came and hung out with us for a few days beforehand. What a sweet help she is and a very big blessing. We love you so, Nana!

That's all, folks. Already looking forward to next year! :) :) :)
